CRB Enhanced Disclosure Details

An Enhanced CRB Disclosure shows details of all spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings.

It also includes a check on local police records. Where local police records contain additional information that might be relevant to the post the applicant is being considered for, the Chief Officer of Police may release information for inclusion in an Enhanced Disclosure.

If a Disclosure contains no record of criminal convictions it is considered to be a testament to good character and conduct.

On completion, the applicant will receive the Enhanced Disclosure Certificate by post directly from the CRB. In addition, a copy is also sent to the company or organisation employing the applicant.
